Born and raised in Los Angeles, Shayan Depatie has always been passionate about helping others. Prior to being an attorney, Shayan Depatie worked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office in the Major Crimes Unit and volunteered with the Domestic Abuse Self Help (DASH) offices of multiple courthouses in Los Angeles County. Her undergraduate studies in psychology built off these experiences to give Shayan Depatie a greater understanding and appreciation for the challenges that people experience throughout their lives.
Recognizing the value of effective and fair dispute resolution, Shayan Depatie has mediated various cases at Los Angeles County courthouses, serving as a Daily Settlement Officer in the Los Angeles Superior Court’s ADR Settlement Program. She also previously volunteered for the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law. Throughout these activities, she developed strong relationships in the family law community and gained a deep grasp of the inner workings of the legal system.
