Raman’s work has spanned the entire range of consumer financial services issues, and has involved some of the most significant matters in the field on behalf of banks, mortgage lenders, auto finance companies, fintechs, loan servicers, insurers and other financial service companies in areas including fair lending; credit reporting; deposit-related practices; unfair, deceptive and abusive acts or practices; debt collection; mortgage pricing; redlining; credit card practices; and mortgage loan servicing.
In addition to representing clients in litigation and enforcement matters with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), federal and state bank regulatory agencies and state attorneys general, Raman counsels numerous financial institutions and service providers on consumer compliance matters.
