Beatriz Paterno focuses on securities and commercial litigation, representing U.S.-listed companies based in Asia in putative class actions filed in U.S. federal and state courts. She also has extensive experience assisting with corporate internal investigations and U.S. regulatory and enforcement matters arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other U.S. laws.
Prior to joining Skadden’s Singapore office in 2024, Paterno worked in the firm’s Hong Kong office starting in 2019, where she successfully defended some of the largest U.S.-listed Asian companies and advised large Southeast Asian corporations in internal investigations and U.S. regulatory and enforcement matters.
