Washington, D. C. (June 26, 2012) Polsinelli Shughart welcomes veteran litigator Jonathan N. Rosen as shareholder in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Highly recognized and experienced in his field, Rosen is a former federal and state prosecutor with substantial experience representing individuals and corporate clients in complex white collar matters. His clients include hospitals, provider groups, insurers, pharmaceutical companies, energy companies, government contractors and other commercial entities.

His addition enhances our national health care capabilities to meet the needs of hospitals and other providers with internal investigations, legislative inquiries, and criminal enforcement actions.”

Rosen has represented clients before various federal agencies, the U.S. House of Representatives and in federal and state courts nationwide. A seasoned courtroom advocate, Rosen has won over 100 trials and argued numerous cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Jonathan has worked with numerous companies and organizations in defending grand jury investigations, as well as conducting compliance audits and internal investigations and monitoring and improving compliance programs. He joins the White Collar Defense and Government Investigations Practice which includes attorneys in Chicago, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.

Rosen has frequently been recognized for his outstanding trial advocacy skills including:

• Director's Award for Superior Performance from the U.S. Attorney General

• Recognition on five occasions for special achievement by the U.S. Department of Justice and by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office

Rosen earned his law degree from Boston University, cum laude, and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, where he earned his B.A with distinction and departmental honors. Rosen has nearly 20 years experience in the courtroom and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
