Los Angeles – Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Alan E. Friedman has joined the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Foley, Friedman had practiced for over 10 years in Jones Day’s Los Angeles office.

Friedman is a trial lawyer with more than 40 years of complex business litigation, arbitration and mediation experience. His practice focuses on business and tort litigation, health care, information systems and hospitality. He represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts and in arbitration and mediations across the country.

Most recently, Friedman has handled disputes in the areas of nonprofit medical foundation organization, human organ transplant, hospital and medical office building development, clinical information systems integration, hotel partnership and hotel owner-operator relations, religious denominations and agricultural cooperatives.
