NEW YORK – September 4, 2012 Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP announced today that real estate attorney Russell G. Wohl has joined the firm's Real Estate Group as counsel in the New York office, effective immediately.

Mr. Wohl handles all aspects of transactional real estate, including leasing and subleasing (representing both landlords and tenants), ground leasing, acquisitions, and mortgage and other security-based financings. In particular, he has extensive experience in commercial leasing transactions, including advising clients in complex, commercial condominium-based and new construction leasing.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wohl was a real estate counsel at another New York law firm.

A graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, Mr. Wohl received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, Binghamton.
