LONDON, UK – January 8, 2013Cozen O’Connor, among the 100 largest U.S. law firms, has announced that international commercial litigator Donna Goldsworthy has joined the London office as a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Arbitration group. Ms. Goldsworthy joins Cozen O’Connor from a London firm, where she served as a Partner in the litigation team. She brings with her a wealth of experience gained from her previous senior roles in both major US and ‘Magic Circle’ firms.

Ms. Goldsworthy’s practice spans a range of industry sectors including real estate, financial institutions and energy. She has significant experience in international and cross border litigation and arbitration. She also has experience in disputes in the areas of white collar crime, regulatory, international trading agreements, commercial contracts, commodities, and joint venture agreements. She recently has played key advisory roles to clients on the UK Bribery Act and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Cozen O’Connor’s London office is a limited liability partnership with members that include English solicitors and registered U.S. attorneys. The London practice extends to insurance and reinsurance coverage, subrogated recoveries and international commercial litigation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Goldsworthy has had significant trial experience and has been the lead advocate on a number of mediations. Ms. Goldsworthy is a qualified Solicitor-Advocate and mediator. She received her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 1995 from the College of Law, Guildford and received her Higher Rights of Audience qualification from the College of Law, London 2003.
