WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 2, 2013) - Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is pleased to announce that Jewell Lim Esposito and David Mohl, both formerly with Constangy Brooks & Smith, LLP, have joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. Region office as Partner and Associate, respectively.  Ms. Esposito previously served as Co-Chair of Constangy’s ERISA practice.

Ms. Esposito has 20-plus years of employee benefits and tax law experience, including fiduciary compliance, tax qualification of retirement plans, executive compensation, and payroll taxes for public, tax-exempt and government contractor clients.  Over the course of her career, Ms. Esposito has examined hundreds of 401(k)/403(b)/457(f) pension plans and payroll tax issues.  She regularly negotiates and structures settlements with the IRS and DOL on her clients’ behalf with respect to fiduciary and tax, pension, and delinquent payroll and employment tax matters. 

Ms. Esposito is a frequent lecturer on ERISA, compensation, and labor and employment issues. She has authored a number of employee benefits, fiduciary, executive compensation and payroll tax publications, and is regularly invited to speak on such topics nationally and regionally. 

Ms. Esposito is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York and Pennsylvania.  She received her B.B.A from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.  

Mr. Mohl’s practice encompasses employee benefits matters such as ERISA compliance for 401(k) and 403(b) plans, non-qualified plan design and correction, payroll tax issues, executive compensation, and health and welfare plans, as well as general employment litigation.  He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Virginia.  Mr. Mohl received his B.S. and B.A. degrees, cum laude, from Truman State University and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Washington University Law Review.
