NEW YORK, NY (October 9, 2013) – Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, a leading law and government relations firm, is pleased to announce that Marc Kaufman has joined the firm as a Partner.  Mr. Kaufman is based in the firm’s New York City office within the firm’s Real Estate Group, where a majority of his practice will consist of Transactional Real Estate.  He previously practiced at Katz & Matz PC in New York.

Davidoff Hutcher & Citron’s Real Estate Practice Group represents a wide range of clients in virtually every kind of real estate matter. The firm provides a wide range of services related to the purchase, sale, leasing, development, financing, joint venture, use and management of real property.  The Real Estate Group represents its clients in a number of matters, including leasing, acquisition, litigation, construction, financing and landlord-tenant issues.  Clients include property owners, purchasers, developers, investors, lenders, construction companies, architects and real estate brokers.

Mr. Kaufman represents public and private lenders clients in purchases, refinances, modifications, lines of credit, commercial loans, construction loans, and payoffs.  To that end, Marc is proficient at all tasks required to effectively close a residential or commercial loan, including but not limited to drafting legal documentation, clearing abstract issues, and acting as escrow agent for lender payoffs in cooperative or real property matters.

Mr. Kaufman, 32, received his B.A. in political science and philosophy from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2003.  He received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2007.  He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
