Fraser McAlpine Joins Jackson Lewis

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 18, 2013) – Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the largest workplace law firms in the world representing management, is pleased to announce  Fraser A. McAlpine has joined the firm and will become Managing Partner of the firm’s San Francisco office, effective January 1, 2014.  Mr. McAlpine was formerly at Hunton & Williams where he was the Managing Partner of their San Francisco office and head of their California Labor and Employment practice.

Mr. McAlpine will take over the management post from Bradley W. Kampas, a veteran Jackson Lewis Partner.  Mr. Cino continued, “Brad is one of the most outstanding traditional labor lawyers practicing in California and throughout the U.S. We are completely supportive of his decision to return to his practice full-time and are very grateful for the substantial contributions he made while heading-up our San Francisco office.”

Mr. McAlpine is a graduate of Colorado College and the University of Toledo College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.  Throughout his career he has received numerous awards and honors and has been included in the Best Lawyers in Americaand ranked in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. In addition to Hunton & Williams, Mr. McAlpine has practiced at Akin Gump, Littler Mendelson, and Andrews Kurth.
