February 18, 2014 – DLA Piper is one of the most active law firms in terms of venture capital (VC) deal volume, according to the “2013 Most Active VC Law Firms” report published by PitchBook, a leading research and business information services firm serving the venture capital and private equity markets.
DLA Piper tied for second for “2013’s Most Active VC Law Firms Globally” based on 225 deals registered with PitchBook. The firm also ranked second for “Most Active in the U.S.” and as one of the top firms in most regions evaluated in the report, including New England, Mid-Atlantic, West Coast and Europe. The firm was also the most active firm in late stage VC deals and the third most active in early stage VC deals.
