April 28, 2014, ChicagoLatham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that Samuel Isaacson has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in the Litigation Department.  Isaacson is the third high-profile litigator to join Latham’s Chicago office this year, following the arrivals of former SEC official John Sikora and first-chair patent litigator David Callahan.

Isaacson’s practice focuses on high-stakes, complex commercial litigation, including securities-related litigation, regulatory investigations, internal investigations and consumer class actions. Isaacson represents issuers, as well as directors and officers, in matters involving shareholder litigation and SEC enforcement actions. He has more than 30 years of experience and will play an integral role in the firm’s securities class action and SEC enforcement defense practices.

Isaacson received his law degree from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 1982.  He received his AB from Dickinson College in 1979.
