CHICAGO, IL (July 23, 2014) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Andre Fiebig has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in the Corporate Services Practice Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Fiebig was a partner at Baker & McKenzie LLP. His practice focuses on corporate and antitrust law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures, and commercial law. He has extensive experience representing foreign clients doing business in the United States in corporate, commercial and transactional matters.  According to Fiebig: "In my opinion, the legal services market, like the economy in general, is in a state of flux.  The transition offers me a unique platform to adapt to these changes and continue to provide legal services to foreign clients doing business in the United States.  Quarles & Brady is a full service law firm which allows me to meet the diverse needs of my clients."

Fiebig is currently an adjunct professor at Northwestern University School of Law where he teaches Mergers & Acquisitions.  He is also a frequent lecturer at Bucerius Law School in Germany and the University of Hong Kong.

He received his doctor of laws and master degrees of law from the University of Tübingen, his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law (ITT), and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.
