NOVEMBER 5, 2014 – Henry Farber, chair of the firmwide employment practice at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, has been inducted as a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, one of the highest peer recognitions that exist in the field.

Farber was honored this past weekend, along with the other members of the 2014 class of Fellows, at the College’s 19th annual Induction Dinner in Los Angeles. Nomination as a Fellow is a national distinction reserved for experienced lawyers who have provided exceptionally high-quality professional services to clients, the bar, and the public and who promote civility among attorneys.

Farber, who practices from the firm’s Bellevue office, represents employers in labor negotiations, arbitrations, and National Labor Relations Board cases. He also helps employers protect confidential and competitive information, and regularly counsels his clients on a variety of labor and employment law issues. He has a particular focus on employers in health care, broadcasting and communications, hospitality, and social services.

Farber is recognized by all the major lawyer-ranking organizations, including Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Martindale-Hubbell. Recent editions of the Chambers guide have quoted clients describing Farber as “very knowledgeable, very helpful,” and saying that “efficiency is the hallmark of his practice and his advice.”

Farber joins other Fellows at Davis Wright Tremaine, including Seattle partners Bob Blackstone, Mark Hutcheson, Tom Lemly, Mike Reiss, and San Francisco partner Judy Keyes.
