LOS ANGELES (November 2014) – Loeb & Loeb announced today that seven attorneys have been added to the firm’s partnership. Daniel Besikof, Nichole Cortese, David Levine and Anthony Pirraglia in the New York office; Tiffany Dunn and Denise Stevens in the Nashville office; and Steve Hurdle in the Los Angeles office have been promoted to partner.

Below is brief biographical information about each of the firm’s new partners:

Daniel Besikof – Bankruptcy, New York

Daniel Besikof advises clients in commercial litigation matters and has represented lenders and agents in the negotiation and documentation of secured and unsecured credit facilities involving term loans, revolving lines of credit and letters of credit. In addition, Mr. Besikof’s practice focuses on representing defendants in bankruptcy-related litigation, including avoidance actions. Mr. Besikof received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. from University of Wisconsin.

Nichole Cortese – Real Estate, New York

Nichole Cortese practices in the area of commercial real estate law, concentrating on office and retail leasing and commercial sales and acquisitions subleasing. She has a wide range of experience in related matters, including commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, real estate brokerage and agency agreements and the assessment of the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Cortese received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from New York University.

David Levine – Capital Markets, New York

David Levine’s focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, representing clients in the life sciences, technology and other industries. Mr. Levine has substantial experience issuers, placement agents and underwriters in connection with initial and secondary public offerings, private placement of debt and equity securities, PIPE transaction, registered direct offerings and alternative public offerings. He regularly counsels publicly traded companies in connection with all aspects of their federal securities law compliance and stock exchange requirements. Mr. Levine received his J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School and his B.A. from University of Maryland.

Anthony Pirraglia – Finance, New York

Anthony Pirraglia focuses his practice in the area of commercial finance, representing both borrowers and lenders in connection with unsecured and asset-based lending transactions. Mr. Pirraglia also represents mezzanine lenders, private equity funds and other investors in their loan to investments in companies in connection with acquisitions and corporate restructures. He also practices as special counsel representing institutional lenders in the area of direct placement of corporate securities. Mr. Pirraglia received his J.D. from Fordham University Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from New York University. 

Tiffany Dunn – Entertainment, Nashville

Tiffany Dunn’s practice focuses on transactions in the entertainment business and intellectual property protection and enforcement. She represents publishing companies, record labels, management companies, recording artists, producers, authors, songwriters and other parties in the music industry. Ms. Dunn received her J.D. from University of Tennessee College of Law and her B.B.A., cum laude, from Belmont University.

Denise Stevens - Entertainment, Nashville

Denise Stevens focuses on entertainment, copyright and trademark transactions, and has particular experience in the music, publishing, touring, television and motion picture industries. Her principal clients include recording artists, songwriters, producers, authors, music industry executives, record labels, music publishers, motion picture and television production companies, and television personalities. Ms. Stevens received her J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law and B.A., cum laude, from University of California, Los Angeles.

Steve Hurdle – Corporate, Los Angeles

Steve Hurdle advises public and private clients on a variety of corporate transactional matters. Mr. Hurdle’s practice focuses on strategic and private equity mergers and acquisitions (representing both buyers and sellers), public offerings (representing both issuers and underwriters) and private placements (representing both issuers and investors) of securities, and other commercial transactions. He also advises on corporate governance issues and other general corporate matters. Mr. Hurdle received his J.D. from University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and his B.S., summa cum laude, from University of Southern California.
