Maryland Governor-elect Larry J. Hogan, Jr. has recently named DLA Piper partner Carville Collins as Counsel to his transition team. As counsel, he will be responsible for legal compliance and advice for all aspects of the Hogan transition and its membership, a group of more than 60 political, business and community leaders from throughout the state.

At DLA Piper, Collins represents energy, water, telecommunications, transportation and other regulated businesses on rate, service and regulatory matters before the Public Service Commission of Maryland and public utility regulatory agencies in other states.

He also advises clients in such areas as campaign finance, election law, lobbying, and public ethics at the federal, state, and local levels.

Collins previously served as lead Co-Counsel to the transition team for newly elected Maryland Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. in 2002-2003.
