Mr. Rubin brings to Dorsey over 25 years of experience in environmental and natural resources regulatory and litigation matters. His practice focuses on air pollution; climate change law and policy; natural resource laws; hazardous materials transportation; and federal, state and citizen enforcement matters -- particularly those related to the energy sector. He coordinated the division’s international program and worked on a wide variety of domestic and international environmental policy and litigation matters, as well as trade and investment negotiations and disputes.
Mr. Rubin has served as chair and vice chair of the American Bar Association’s International Environmental Law Committee Section on Environment, Energy and Resources. He also served as an appointed member of the ABA Standing Committee on Environmental Law. In addition, he has served on the Board of Governors of the D.C. Bar and as a chair of the D.C. Bar’s Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Section and International Environmental Law Committee. He is a Board member of the Washington Council of Lawyers and previously served as Vice President of that organization.
