WASHINGTON, 1 March 2016 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Kathleen Peterson has joined the firm as counsel in the Health practice.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Peterson was a special counsel at Cooley LLP, where she provided health regulatory counsel to a range of industry clients, including pharmaceutical, biologic, and biotechnology manufacturers, distributors, managed care organizations, specialty pharmacies, and clinical laboratories.

At Hogan Lovells, Peterson will advise pharmaceutical manufacturers on government drug price reporting matters and regulatory issues relating to product commercialization more generally.

Peterson earned her B.A. in economics and political science from the State University of New York, College of Geneseo, and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, with honors in a health law concentration. She served as Vice-Chair of the American Health Lawyers Association Medicare Part D Task Force from 2006 to 2008, and is a frequent public speaker on a range of issues pertaining to the pharmaceutical, biologic, and managed care industries.
