Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the United States and in China, proudly announces the addition of Employment and Labor partner Vance O. Knapp.

Knapp brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm, representing clients in all areas of employment law, including internal investigations, employee terminations, ADA accommodation issues, discrimination and harassment claims and wage and hour matters. His experience also includes litigating employment law cases in federal and state courts, and through complex arbitrations. In addition, he counsels clients who have medical marijuana businesses as well as those in the agribusiness and food sector.

“Vance’s substantive experience makes him an important asset to our clients and complements our bench of seasoned employment lawyers across the firm’s multiple offices,” said Chuck Steese, partner and managing attorney of the Denver office. “His sophisticated employment knowledge and trial skills strengthen our capabilities and expand the growth of our Denver office.”

Prior to entering private practice in 2000, Knapp served as a prosecutor with the Denver City Attorney’s Office, where he tried more than 300 cases.

Knapp earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law and B.A. in political science from Colorado State University. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Arizona, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Knapp is based in the firm’s Denver office, which includes attorneys practicing in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, higher education, corporate services, telecommunications, privacy and data security, and intellectual property services and litigation.
