Glaser Weil LLP is pleased to announce that Michael E. Meyer has joined the Firm, and will be located in the Firm’s Century City and Downtown Los Angeles offices. Over a span of five decades, Mr. Meyer has developed a nationwide reputation as one of the preeminent real estate attorneys in the United States.

His diverse client roster includes many of this country’s leading financial institutions, accounting firms and law firms, particularly in connection with major leasing transactions. His notable clients include Capitol Records, Nestle USA, ICM, and City National Bank.

“Michael’s leasing experience and invaluable years of legal practice will add additional support to Glaser Weil’s robust Real Estate Department. We look forward to his collaboration with the group and the Firm as a whole,” said Daniel Jordan, Partner and Chair of the Firm’s twenty-person Real Estate Department.

Mr. Meyer served for ten years as a member of the board of directors and executive committee of the Building Owners and Managers Association in Los Angeles. He has served as judge pro tem in the Los Angeles Municipal Courts and served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

A dedicated community member, he has served on the board of directors of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, Los Angeles Police Foundation, and LA Sports & Entertainment Commission.

Mr. Meyer earned his J.D. at the University of Chicago. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
