June 2, 2025- Wilkinson Stekloff is pleased to announce that Jolee Porter has joined the firm as a Partner in our Washington, D.C. office. With over 15 years of experience between her time in public service at the U.S. Department of Justice and in private practice, Jolee has tried multiple cases to verdict across a wide range of legal issues including public corruption, theft, breach of contract, and products liability.

“Working with Jolee at trial at the outset of her career was a terrific experience.  She is smart, strategic, and a team player.  It was clear that she would become an excellent trial attorney,” said Founding Partner Beth Wilkinson. “Her experience in the government—across an array of complex and high-profile matters—has certainly proven that to be the case.  I am thrilled she will be my partner and I will have the opportunity to work with her again in the courtroom.”

Most recently, Jolee served as Senior Counsel at the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section at the DOJ, where she led investigations and prosecutions of complex transnational cybercrimes, including some of the largest and most sensitive cyberattacks on U.S. companies and critical infrastructure. Known for her commitment to the professional development of junior attorneys, Jolee also led the mentoring program for women in the DOJ’s Criminal Division from 2023 to 2025.

“Jolee was an exceptional attorney from the start of her career,” said Founding Partner Brian Stekloff.  “She’s gone on to achieve incredible successes in the government and the combination of her unique experience in civil and criminal matters will be an immediate asset to our firm and our clients.  We are so lucky that she has chosen to reunite with us as she returns to private practice, and I could not be more excited to work with her again.”

In her previous roles as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia and Trial Attorney for the DOJ Public Integrity Section, she led numerous criminal investigations and prosecutions, including cases involving fraud, money laundering, election threats, human trafficking, and racketeering. In 2024, Jolee received two U.S. Attorney’s Awards for her work in public corruption and healthcare fraud.

“Wilkinson Stekloff has set the gold standard for trial excellence, talent development, and leadership in the legal community,” said Jolee. “I am thrilled to be back working with Beth, Brian, and an incredible team of trial attorneys to deliver results for clients at the highest level.”

Jolee began her career at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where she handled product liability, securities, and other complex litigation matters.  She received her law degree cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, graduating summa cum laude.
