Kennerly, Lamishaw & Rossi LLP (KLR) is pleased to announce that Herman Enayati has joined the Firm effective October 24, 2011.

Herman is a real estate finance lawyer specializing in secured lending, loan restructurings and workouts, and the acquisition, management and disposition of distressed real estate and loan portfolios. Herman, like all KLR lawyers, is an experienced lawyer with “big law firm” training and deal exposure. He began his legal career in 2006 at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and for the past two years was with Akin Gump Stauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

Herman graduated from UCLA in 2000 with a BA in business administration and worked as an analyst at the TCW Group prior to attending law school in 2003. He earned his JD in 2006 from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served as a legal research and writing fellow and was the recipient of the Town & Gown Scholarship.

Herman’s combined business and legal experience gives KLR added dimension in its Finance and Distressed Real Estate and Restructuring practice groups. Herman has handled a wide variety of debt and equity transactions, including the origination, securitization and participation of senior and subordinate mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, construction loans and preferred equity investments, as well as joint venture and limited liability company formations.

In addition, Herman’s early training as a lawyer means that he comes to KLR well-versed in traditional real estate transactions, including experience in a wide variety of sophisticated purchase and sale agreements, leasing agreements, and due diligence reviews. Please join us in welcoming Herman to KLR!
