Rafferty also sits on the State Bar of Texas Advertising Review Committee. He recognizes the obligation attorneys and law firms have to be forthright and honest with their clients in how they offer their services. His work on the Review Committee allows him to keep his clients up to date on the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct, and make sure they’re always in compliance with Texas’ truth in advertising laws.
In addition to Rafferty’s many other duties, he’s also become Androvett’s list expert, helping the agency’s law firm clients to understand which “top lawyer” lists are credible and worth their time. Because of his work in these areas, Lawdragon has named him to its list of Top 100 Legal Consultants two years in a row.
Before joining Androvett, Rafferty spent 12 years as director of advertising for Texas Lawyer, where he managed the advertising sales team and consulted with law firms and litigation support companies. It’s this experience that’s helped him build relationships between law firms and legal publications and organizations all over the state. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Marketing.
