A legal source calls him “the driving force of the firm” and states that he is “exceptionally good in complex, high-profile cases.” Clients praise his dynamism, with one saying he “has an energy in him that makes him a force of action,” and another commenting: “He will run through brick walls for his clients. He was previously Chairman of international fashion brand Hardy Amies Plc, and City PR firm Lehmann Communications, before setting up Maltin PR.
Maltin is also the author of several books on the Titanic and he wrote and presented the feature-length documentary film special ‘Titanic: Case Closed’ for National Geographic. For Titanic’s centenary, Maltin also co-wrote and co-presented ‘Titanic – Minute by minute’, a three-hour live broadcast on BBC Radio 2, with Jeremy Vine, which won a Bronze Award at the Sony Radio Awards, and the Grand Award and a Gold Award at the New York Radio Awards. Maltin recently co-presented a Titanic documentary with historian and TV presenter Dan Snow.
