SAN DIEGO, CA – Gresham Savage, a leading business, litigation, real estate, environmental and land use law firm, announced that Todd R. Kinnear has joined the firm’s San Diego office. Mr. Kinnear has 16 years’ experience representing corporations and individuals in complex federal and state court litigation matters, including unfair competition and business practices, employment related claims, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and breach of contract as well as other business-related torts.

“Since its inception, the firm’s San Diego office has focused on real estate, from acquiring and developing large-scale retail projects, to financing, leasing and disposing of improved property,” said Shareholder Lina Ericsson. “Todd has been involved in all aspects of business and real estate litigation across the country and will be a noteworthy resource for our clients.”

Mr. Kinnear joins the firm’s San Diego office, which opened in 2011 and currently has nine attorneys, many of whom joined from the former office of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps. Prior to joining Gresham Savage, he was a partner at Gordon & Rees, LLP in its commercial litigation and employment practice groups, and before that, a partner at Luce Forward.

Mr. Kinnear obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laudeand Order of the Coif. During law school, he was an associate editor of the San Diego Law Review. He obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree from San Diego State University, graduating cum laude.

He served as a member in several organizations, including Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key Honor Societies, and earned the Distinguished Service Award in 2010 for his service in the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. He has been named a San Diego Magazine “Top Lawyer” in 2014, 2015 and 2016.  He is also a board member of the Friends of Balboa Park, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
