The 2026 Lawdragon 100 Leading Cayman Lawyers

This is the second edition of the Cayman 100. It features a wealth of lawyers who live and work in the Caymans, at a handful of premier firms sited there. Alongside them are leading global advocates who’ve made their mark on the island’s legal footprint through massive individual cases or their ongoing fluency in the region’s disputes. For the vast amount of wealth that washes into its shores, there is a surprisingly small group of lawyers who anchor its practice.

Shelley White of Walkers is a standout insolvency, trust disputes and asset recovery lawyer based in the Caymans. After starting her career in London, she moved to the Caymans, where she has worked on some of its most high-profile disputes. She represented the bankruptcy trustee of Bernard Madoff, Irving Picard; a host of financial entities in failed fund litigation; GHF parties in Abraaj; and Asia Cement Corporation in the ongoing China Shanshui proceedings.

Christopher Levers of Ogier is also a star disputes partner in the Caymans. He specializes in restructuring and insolvency, trust disputes and other litigation. He has acted in a number of leading cases in the jurisdiction, among them Pearson v. Primeo; Culross Global SPC v Strategic Turnaround; In the matter of Torchlight Fund LP; and the fraud trial, AHAB v SICL et al.

Craig A. Boneau of Reid Collins & Tsai is one of the outstanding global disputes lawyers recognized here for his work untangling legal liabilities from a web of financial complication. He has represented liquidators and creditors in a web of offshore disputes, as well as pursuing U.S. and foreign law claims in insolvencies. Among his matters, he represents the Joint Official Liquidators of Farfetch Limited, a Cayman Islands company, investigating claims related to the company’s collapse.
