Jonathan Pickhardt is a nationally recognized commercial litigator specializing in financial services, securities and structured finance litigation. He serves as co-chair of Quinn Emanuel’s Financial Services Litigation Practice and Structured Finance Litigation Practice. Pickhardt has deep expertise in advising corporate clients on litigation strategies and disputes related to complex financial transactions, structured financial products, derivatives, and debt or equity instruments.
Pickhardt has achieved great success on behalf of his clients including obtaining multiple nine-figure recoveries, including one of the largest arbitration awards in the history of FINRA for National Australia Bank against Goldman Sachs arising out of a failed CDO investment. Pickhardt is an accomplished first chair trial lawyer, including a case in which he successfully enjoined the $3 billion Bank Atlantic asset sale on behalf of trust preferred security investors.
