It’s an honor to introduce The 2026 Lawdragon Legends.
What becomes a legend most?
For us, justice. With a bit of swag, a lot of judgment and serious heart.
We created the ‘Legend’ status in 2015 to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It is selected by our editors who have worked with and studied the candidate lawyers for years. To be eligible for consideration, a lawyer must have been a member of the Lawdragon 500 for 10 years. And then contributed to their firm, the profession, to life in meaningful and dimensional ways.
Doris Cheng of San Francisco’s Walkup Melodia is an exceptional champion, winning hundreds of millions of dollars for individuals injured by the negligent acts of others.
William V. Fogg of New York’s Cravath is a Capital Markets dynamo, crafting innovative and significant deals for companies and major investment banks in public and private capital markets.
Rebecca Weinstein Bacon of Chicago’s Bartlit Beck is a wonder of a trial lawyer, winning for Fortune 500 companies on their most critical product liability, antitrust, class action and other enterprise-impacting claims.
It’s our honor to recognize them alongside the 19 other members of the Legends Class of 2026. We’ve come a long long way together.
