WASHINGTON, D.C. 24 February 2014 – Hogan Lovells today announced that Tom Peters has joined the firm’s Government Regulatory practice as a Senior Technical Advisor. He will be based in the Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecoms group. Peters will provide assistance on technical policy and related engineering matters for clients in the telecommunications, wireless, and media industries. 

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells Peters was Chief Engineer of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission where he advised the Chairman, Commissioners, Bureau Chiefs and staff on technical policy matters. He was also a co-founder of Wireless Strategy, LLC a strategic engineering consulting firm that provides technology and business guidance to wireless operators, vendors, and investors.

Peters received his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
