Miami, Fla. – February 24, 2014 – Grossman Roth, P.A., Florida’s premier trial law firm, is pleased to announce that co-founder Stuart Z. Grossman is the recipient of the 2014 Compassionate Gladiator Award, presented by the Florida Justice Association. Each year this award is presented to an individual who exemplifies strength, skill, drive and heart and who can be described as an “unwavering advocate, a master of the trial and a champion for victims.”
“I am honored to be the recipient of this prestigious award, as well as to have the opportunity to speak to such a dedicated group of professionals,” said Mr. Grossman.
Mr. Grossman presented his address on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, where he also received the award. The topic of the Annual Compassionate Gladiator Address was “Putting Together the Total Package with Intensity, Tenacity, Persistence, and Drive While Simultaneously Seeing and Feeling the Compassion and Heart of the Case – What Does it Mean to ‘Effectively Communicate’ With a Juror and How is That Accomplished?”
Mr. Grossman is recognized as one of America’s pre-eminent trial lawyers, concentrating in medical malpractice, products liability, and personal injury litigation. His successful career is distinguished by an unprecedented number of favorable verdicts. He has consistently won some of the largest awards in Florida. Mr. Grossman was named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates of Florida. He was the recipient of the Academy of Trial Lawyer’s Crystal Eagle Award and inducted into the Academy’s Hall of Fame. Mr. Grossman is named in the book, The Best Lawyers in America. Lawdragon named him as one of America’s 500 leading attorneys. Florida Trend Magazine and Florida Super Lawyers have both named him as one of the state’s top 10 trial lawyers. His lectures within the legal profession have been videotaped and circulated nationwide. Ted Koppel and Larry King have interviewed him as an expert on malpractice for their nationally televised programs.
