We’re honored to introduce The 2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers.

We’ve all been there in one way or another, and these are the lawyers who can help you survive it. And hopefully come out the other side with children, businesses, pets, art – whatever you cherish – protected alongside a measure of dignity.

Most of these lawyers specialize in “private client” or “high-net worth” divorce, meaning headline names or massive assets and business interests to be parsed. We selected this guide in our time-honed process combining robust nominations, independent journalistic research and vetting by colleagues and peers. Members of our permanent Hall of Fame are denoted with an asterisk.

This guide is our most female forward, with 56 percent of those recognized; and 12 percent inclusive.
