Brad J. Finkelstein

A partner in the Corporate Department and member of the Finance Practice, Brad Finkelstein focuses on representing private equity funds, including affiliates of Apollo Global Management LLC, and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of corporate finance transactions, including leveraged buyouts, distressed debt purchases, total return swaps, refinancings and restructurings.

Experience

Brad has extensive experience with virtually all types of corporate financial products, including leveraged loans (first lien, second lien and asset-backed loans), high yield bonds, high yield bridge loans, mezzanine debt instruments, total return swaps, management company credit facilities, fund capital call bridge facilities and project financings.  Brad also has broad experience in corporate restructurings and in the purchase and financing of distressed debt instruments (including distressed debt portfolios).  Additionally, he represents capital markets affiliates of private equity funds in their investment and lending activities.

Brad has been involved in numerous industries working on behalf of Apollo Global Management LLC and their various portfolio companies.  His active portfolio company clients include Hostess Brands, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Prestige Cruise Lines, Nine Entertainment, Rexnord, Pinnacle Agriculture, Veritable Maritime and Verso Paper.

Brad also works with Wellspring Capital Management and the firm's other private equity clients on middle market corporate financings.

A member of the Columbia University Business Law Review, Brad was also a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
