We selected The Energy 500 from our well-honed methodology combining independent research, peer discussion and a bustling nomination platform – made possible by our improved submission protocol. In this ‘day and age,’ as they say, we’ve decided to permanently track the inclusion in our guides in dedicated ‘fact trackers’ that we will soon publish regarding each guide alongside their methodology.

This is our fourth edition of The Energy 500, which will be joined with a Global edition in 2026. It was first published as part of The Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental & Energy Lawyers in 2021.
